Police in Sheffield are linking the thefts of two bags from two city centre bars.
On Tuesday, June 3, officers were alerted to a theft from The Wick at Both Ends on West Street and Bungalows and Bears on Division Street.
Inspector Darren Starkey said: “Thefts are a priority for officers working in the city centre. Our officers regularly patrol the area looking for property that is vulnerable and advise people to keep a closer eye on their possessions.
“Thieves do, and will, walk around pubs and bars looking for items that have been left unattended before simply helping themselves.
“Sheffield is a great place to enjoy a night out. However, while people are relaxing and enjoying themselves, it is always wise to ensure that possessions are kept safe and in full view.”
