A POLICE probe has been launched after graffiti was daubed over an underpass in north Derbyshire.

The vandalism, which is in yellow, covers a 10 metre long area and features the words ‘Bad Boyz’, ‘S43’ and ‘Nick N Craig’.

It was sprayed on to the underpass on Station Road, Brimington, between noon on Friday, May 20, and noon on Thursday, May 26.

Derbyshire County Council Rangers found the graffiti during a routine check at the site.

Police Community Support Officer Matt Winterton said: “This is a thoughtless act of vandalism that will take the council time and money to remove.

“I would urge anyone with any information about any of the tags to call police so we can identify those responsible and take the appropriate action against them.”
