POLice are hunting two men who grabbed two chains from another man in an early morning street robbery in Staveley.
The victim, a 46-year-old Danesmoor man, was walking past Morrisons on Barnfield Close when a teenager on a bike cycled up and asked him for a cigarette.
The cyclist then grabbed a chain from around the man’s neck.
As the victim walked away he hid another of his chains in his pocket but was followed by the cyclist and a group of other youths and one of them pushed him to the ground and stole the second chain.
Witnesses to the robbery at 2.40am on Saturday, July 16, should call Derbyshire Police.
