Police officers flooded a street in Sheffield city centre after reports of a brawl.

Emergency services were called to Wicker, close to the Wicker Arches, at 1.10am yesterday.

Police said there were reports that three men had been fighting in the street.

Two men, aged 39 and 40, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and were bailed after police questioning.

Another man was taken to hospital with minor injuries but was not arrested.

There were around six police cars spotted on the street while officers were dealing with the initial reports of the disturbance.
