TWO specialist police dogs from South Yorkshire have been drafted in to help search for the body of a woman murdered by her husband.
A spaniel and a labrador are helping police search millionaire Adrian Prout’s former farm in Gloucestershire for the corpse of his wife Kate.
Last week Prout, aged 49, led officers to land on the farm where he said he had buried the former teacher.
The businessman had always denied murdering Mrs Prout but confessed in prison.
South Yorkshire’s cadaver dogs - trained to locate decomposed bodies - are being used in the search along with a body deposition expert who specialises in forensic search and recovery.
Excavation work is taking place in dense woodland on the 276-acre farm, which police have cordoned off.
