Police officers have issued an appeal for help in tracing a missing man - who has not been seen since March.
Steven Dixon, aged 44, was officially reported missing this week but it has now been established that he has not been seen since earlier this year, when he was living in the Summer Lane area of Barnsley.
A man matching Mr Dixon’s description was seen in the Stairfoot area of Barnsley around four weeks ago.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “He is not believed to have been in contact with his family or friends since March and this is considered to be out of character.
“He was officially reported missing this week and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.”
Mr Dixon is white, 5ft 7ins tall, skinny and has ginger-light brown receding hair.
Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
