DETECTIVES investigating the theft of hire vehicles in Sheffield and Stafford have issued CCTV stills of two men they believe could hold vital information.

The police probe centres around the theft of three cars, two of which are still missing – a grey S-registered Peugeot 308 and a white S-registered Ford Mondeo.

They were all taken from a car hire company in July last year and a £2,000 reward is being offered by the firm for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible.

Three people arrested on suspicion of theft have all been bailed pending further enquiries.
