The shock report into child sex abuse in Rotherham will be discussed by the county’s Police and Crime Panel this week.
Members of the public will be able to attend the meeting, to be held at Rotherham Town Hall at 11am on Thursday.
The Police and Crime Panel scrutinises the activities of, and decisions taken by, Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright, who in turn holds South Yorkshire Police to account.
The 12-member panel includes councillors from Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster plus two co-opted independent members.
Its chairman is Labour councillor Harry Harpham, from Sheffield.
Other members include Doncaster mayor Ros Jones and UKIP’s Caven Vines.
