Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright is due to hold a public surgery in Sheffield - the first since the Rotherham child sex abuse scandal broke.
Mr Wright has cancelled two surgeries since Professor Alexis Jay’s report into child sexual exploitation.
The first was due to have been held in Barnsley on September 5, but was called off because the PCC’s office said there had been ‘no requests for appointments’.
A second surgery, to have been held in Doncaster on September 19, has been cancelled while a ‘review’ of his appointments is carried out.
Currently his website lists the Sheffield surgery as still going ahead. It is due to be held in the Town Hall on Friday, October 3, from 5pm to 6.30pm. Call 01226 774 600 to book to attend.
