A WOMAN thought to have been in South Yorkshire after going missing from home was found safe and well in Doncaster.

Amy Bowden, aged 18, from High Wycombe, went missing on Monday. Police issued an appeal for help in tracing her, revealing she has friends and family in Rotherham and Doncaster, and she was found on Tuesday night.

House break-in

A HOUSE on Midhill Road, Lowfield, Sheffield, was broken into when a window was forced open, while another home on Gleadless Road, Gleadless Valley, was burgled overnight on Sunday into Monday. Anyone with information can call South Yorkshire Police on 101.

Raids probed

TWO break-ins were reported on Westwick Crescent, Greenhill, Sheffield, within a few days.

A shed was broken into overnight on Sunday into Monday and an outhouse the Thursday before. Police are also investigating a break-in at a garage on Meadowhead, which had been left unlocked.

Cannabis found

POLICE found more than 100 cannabis plants during a raid of a house on London Road, Sheffield.

Officers investigating the drug cultivation factory want anyone with information about those behind it to call 101.

Burglary charge

A MAN arrested over a burglary on School Lane, Greenhill, Sheffield, has been charged with the offence.

Shed set alight

A SHED was set alight in an arson attack in the grounds of a derelict house on Brecks Lane, East Herringthorpe, Rotherham. Firefighters tackled the blaze.

Retail park fire

Firefighters were called to Drakehouse Retail Park after a light fitting caught fire. Nobody was harmed.
