a CCTV camera has been installed in Old Whittington, near Chesterfield, to help reduce anti-social behaviour and low-level crime.
The camera has been fitted on High Street at the top of Station Lane and will monitor areas where groups often congregate.
It covers the public toilets, the area surrounding Revolution House, the Bulls Head pub and the Post Office.
The camera was paid for by a local councillor and the Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership.
Joe Tomlinson, the Partnership’s Community Safety Officer, said: “Hopefully the camera will contribute to a reduction in anti-social behaviour and lower level crime.”
