Three murder suspects arrested over the death of a woman in Sheffield have been bailed by police.
Two men and one woman, who were among five people initially arrested over the death, were released by police this morning pending further inquiries.
Detectives have kept two men in custody for further questioning, following the discovery of the body of a 28-year-old woman in a house on The Oval, Firth Park, on Tuesday afternoon.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Three people arrested in connection with the murder of a woman at a house in Sheffield have been bailed.
“Detectives detained four men, all in their 30s, and an older woman, following the discovery of a woman’s body at an address in The Oval at about 2.15pm on Tuesday.
“Two of the men and the older woman were bailed this morning, the two other men remain in custody.
“A post-mortem examination taking place to determine the cause of death and remains ongoing.
“Formal identification is due to be carried out in the coming days but police can now confirm that the woman was believed to be 28-years-old.
“House-to-house enquiries have been conducted in the area and forensic examinations have been carried out at the property.
“Further enquiries are due to be carried out at the scene today.”
