Detectives investigating the suspected murder of a man in Wales want to hear from his next of kin, who are believed to be from Yorkshire.
John Reeder, aged 63, died on Wednesday morning after coming off his bicycle on George Street in Pontnewynydd.
Three men, aged 18, 19 and 23, and one woman, aged 19, all from Pontypool, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A Gwent Police spokesman said: “Officers are currently trying to contact next of kin of Mr Reeder – who are possibly in the Yorkshire or Humberside areas.
“Officers investigating the incident are trying to establish the sequence of events leading up to the cyclist coming off his bike.”
