MEP Linda McAvan is demanding answers over lack of progress in bringing to justice the killers of Matt Cryer in Greece.
Matt, aged 17, who grew up in Frecheville and Killamarsh, died after being pushed downstairs by bouncers at a nightclub in Laganas, Zante.
Five years on his family are still campaigning for justice.
The MEP wrote to the Zante courts: “It would seem that members of staff have been identified by independent witnesses in connection with Matthew’s death.
“Can you confirm if the suspects identified by witnesses in connection with Matthew’s death have been charged? Please can you provide an update on what stage the investigation is at and explain any issues that might be delaying proceedings.”
