Police have released seven images of men they want to trace after a mass brawl in Sheffield city centre over the summer.

Detectives investigating the disturbance in Leopold Street believe the men captured on CCTV cameras in Sheffield could hold vital information about what happened and who was involved.

South Yorkshire Police said officers were called out to deal with ‘large scale disorder’ at around 7pm on Saturday, August 24.

The disturbance resulted in a number of assaults.

Furniture at the pub was also damaged.

Detectives want anyone who recognises any of the men in the CCTV footage to come forward with names, to help detectives track them down.

Eleven men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and released on bail.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police investigating an incident of large-scale disorder in Sheffield have released CCTV images of seven people they want to speak to in connection with it.

“A number of men were involved in the altercation which happened outside a pub in Leopold Street.

“Several people were assaulted and furniture at the pub was damaged.

“Officers have released CCTV images of men they believe could have information about the incident.”
