Two men have stolen jewellery from a pensioner after forcing their way in her Chesterfield home.

The offenders knocked on the door of a house in Wharf Lane at about 10.30pm on Monday, September 29.

When the 81-year-old woman answered the door, the men forced their way past her and searched the house, making off with a number of pieces of jewellery. They also took a bracelet that the victim was wearing.

Investigating police officers want to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have been offered jewellery for sale.
