Man knocked unconscious in attack in Barnsley

A man was knocked unconscious and left with a broken nose and two black eyes after an attack in Barnsley.

The 66-year-old was set upon after leaving the Station pub on Pitt Street, Low Valley, Darfield, at 9.30pm on Wednesday, April 15.

He told police he was approached by a man who repeatedly punched him in the face.

His attacker was white, about 5ft 6in, with dark hair. He was wearing a green padded jacket.
