A man has been charged with three counts of indecent exposure in Rotherham.

Callum Mason, aged 18, of Park Road, Swinton, is accused of flashing in Swinton on three occasions on Monday, January 4 and Thursday, January 7.

He was charged last night and remanded in custody until he appears before Rotherham magistrates today.

Police were called after a flasher exposed himself at the windows of an elderly care home in Wortley Avenue as well as at properties in nearby Valley Road and Piccadilly Road.

A e-fit was released by South Yorkshire earlier this week.

Detective Inspector Steve Brookes said: “Since reports of these incidents, we have increased the police presence in the area and our Police Community Support Officers are continuing to carry out house to house enquiries and provide reassurance to those living in the area.”
