A MAN is in hospital with a serious head injury after being attacked outside a city centre bar.
The 20-year-old was injured outside Yates’ on Cambridge Street at 11.35pm on Saturday.
South Yorkshire Police said the victim had been inside the bar with friends shortly before the attack. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The attacker was white, slim, aged around 25, with short shaved receding hair. He was wearing a black jumper and red chino style trousers.
Witnesses, anyone with information, or anyone in the area at the time of the attack should call police on 101, quoting incident 1,412 of November 3.
