A man was attacked by two other men after parking his car on a Sheffield street.

Police said the 28-year-old had just got out of his vehicle on Stevenson Road, Attercliffe, when he was attacked at 5.30pm on Tuesday, January 27.

One attacker was white, the other Asian.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police in Sheffield are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault.

“Police received reports that a 28-year-old man parked his car on Stevenson Road, Sheffield at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, January 27.

“Officers believe that after he got out of his vehicle, he was approached by two unknown men.

“It is then alleged that the unknown men attacked the 28-year-old causing him to suffer from wounds to his arm.

“One of the unknown men is described as white and the other is described as Asian.

“Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and contact police.”
