A man accused of an attack on a Sheffield street which left another man fighting for life has appeared at court.
David Lindley, aged 34, of Harborough Avenue, Manor Park, is charged with causing grievous bodily harm following an attack on a 47-year-old man.
The injured man was found slumped on Harborough Avenue just before midnight on Sunday, June 22, leading to police officers erecting a cordon around the crime scene and surrounding streets.
He was attacked shortly after leaving a nearby pub and was left in a critical condition in hospital.
Lindley appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on Thursday and was granted bail until October 30.
