Jewellery thieves wanted by police over house raid in Doncaster

Jewellery thieves who raided a house in Doncaster are being hunted by police.

They ransacked a house on Crossways, Wheatley Hills, on Thursday, April 23 while the owners were out.

The culprits, who gained entry through the patio door, took a large amount of Asian gold jewellery as well as cash.

Two men were seen climbing over the garden fence to escape before making their way through gardens onto Thorne Road.

One man was white, aged in his late teens to early 20s, of an average build, about 6ft tall and had blond hair.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, a light blue T-shirt, light blue shorts and white trainers.

The other was also white and a similar age and build, around 5ft 10ins with short cropped hair.

His lower face was covered and he was wearing a dark T-shirt with a pattern on the front and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 573 of April 23.
