A police probe into a stabbing on a Sheffield street is continuing.
Detectives were alerted to the knife attack on Horninglow Road, Firth Park, just before 5.15pm on Monday.
When officers arrived at the scene they discovered that a 34-year-old man had been stabbed in his chest.
He also had cut marks to his face.
The victim was taken to hospital where his condition was initially described as serious but not life threatening.
Police said they believe he was assaulted in a house before the trouble spilled outside.
Officers cordoned off part of the street and carried out a detailed search of the area.
Anyone with information should call 101.
