Homes broken into across Sheffield over weekend

A spate of burglaries committed in Sheffield over the weekend are under investigation.

In one break in, on Kent Road, Heeley, a window was smashed to gain entry and the keys to a car parked outside were stolen.

Windows were also smashed to gain entry to homes on Morland Rod, Gleadless Valley and Lupton Road, Lowedges.

A house on Fitzroy Road, Heeley, was broken into after a door lock was forced.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
