Firearms including a handgun and sawn off shotgun were found by police during raids in Rotherham.
The weapons were seized along with Class A drugs and cannabis in a crackdown on drugs in the town, which has seen officers raid over 50 properties over the last 12 months.
Acting Inspector Chris Blake, from the Rotherham North Local Policing Team, said: “There has been some excellent work carried out by officers across our district and the tweet relating to the drugs warrants is no exception.
“In the last year or so, we have executed over 50 warrants all across the north of the town that have resulted in significant drugs seizures and a number of firearms being taken off the streets.
“My Local Policing Team are very keen to execute drugs warrants in particular, as we know this is a key concern for our local communities.
“We have recovered large amounts of cannabis from both large and small cannabis factories, as well as seizing Class A drugs on occasion.
“This demonstrates that this type of criminality really could happen anywhere and we rely a great deal on the public sharing their concerns, letting us know where they think people might be producing or selling drugs.
“At some of the drugs warrants, we also recovered firearms including a viable handgun and a sawn off shotgun.
“As a result of these warrants, a number of arrests have been made and there are ongoing legal proceedings against a number of individuals, as well as the continued investigative work of officers across Rotherham to identify and apprehend those involved in this type of criminality.”
