FOUR arrests have been made as part of a police probe into counterfeit currency in Chesterfield.
Police said a 22-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl and two women aged 25 were quizzed on suspicion of attempting to use fake notes in Tesco Extra on Lockoford Lane.
They have been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Police urged businesses and market traders to be vigilant when checking bank notes.
