Victim: Lylah Aaron, three-year-old girl from Beck Road, Shiregreen.

THIS is the face of ‘little angel’ Lylah Aaron - the three-year-old whose death at the weekend sparked a murder inquiry in Sheffield.

Shocked neighbours have left floral tributes to the little girl, on Beck Road, in Shiregreen.

Someone placed a large Winnie-the-Pooh bear with the flowers and one note described her as a ‘little angel’,

Now police have issued this photo of the victim.

Another tributes said: “Fly safe little one. Our thoughts are with your family.”

A 30-year-old man has appeared in court charged with her murder.

Lylah was taken to hospital after an ambulance was called to an address in Beck Road on Friday evening.

She was taken to the city’s Children’s Hospital but died at 12.20am on Saturday, despite the efforts of doctors.

Delroy Catwell, of Beck Road, Shiregreen, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court for a two-minute hearing.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.

Catwell stood in the glass-fronted dock accompanied by two security guards and wearing a blue T-shirt and blue trousers. He spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and give his address.

He is facing one charge of murdering Lylah on Friday.

The house where the three-year-old was found remained sealed off on Monday. A number of police vehicles were parked outside and officers stood guard at the end of a short path to the front door.

Forensics officers in white suits were seen going in and out of the property, which is in the middle of a row of four houses in the centre of the large Shiregreen council estate.
