FIREFIGHTERS were called to Sheffield’s Ski Village again this morning - after another blaze broke out.

Crews were alerted to today’s blaze at the artificial ski resort on Vale Road, Parkwood Springs, at 5.15am.

They found a wooden control centre at the top of the ski slope engulfed in flames.

The blaze broke out just 48 hours after the main Alpine-style wooden building which housed the reception area, function rooms and bowling alley went up in flames.

An investigation into the cause of Sunday’s blaze is still underway but this morning’s incident has been logged as arson.
