Firefighters stop blaze spreading

FIREFIGHTERS battled for over four hours to prevent a roof fire spreading to the property next door. Crews were alerted to the blaze on Carver Drive, Dinnington, Rotherham, and found the roof of a semi-detached house engulfed in flames. They managed to stop the flames spreading next door. The cause of the fire has been logged as accidental.
