Employee blamed for arson attack in Barnsley warehouse

Have your say

A fire at a clothing warehouse in Barnsley is ‘likely’ to have been started by an employee, say police.

The blaze at ASOS in Grimethorpe, which caused £30 million of damage, broke out in June.

Police are trying to identify the arsonist through forensic evidence.

There were 500 employees working in the warehouse at the time.
