More than 1,500 EDL members are set to march through Rotherham tomorrow - with police warning residents to expect disruption and road closures.
Protesters will gather at the Town Hall at 1pm and begin marching at 1.30pm.
The group will march from the Town Hall, along Moorgate Street, onto Church Street, left onto Market Street, left onto Market Place, and right onto Westgate, and will arrive at Main Street at around 2pm for speeches until 3pm.
Counter-protesters from Unite Against Fascism will also gather at 1pm, at All Saints Square, before making their way to the Town Hall.
South Yorkshire Police Commander for Rotherham, Chief Supt Jason Harwin, said: “We respect the democratic right to protest and additional officers will be on duty to ensure a peaceful and safe protest for all. If people are attending with the intention of disorder, they will be identified and dealt with.”
