Duo arrested over drugs

A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs after police stopped a vehicle in Stockport and found a quantity of cocaine.

The 23-year-old, from Kimberworth, Rotherham, was arrested at 9.30pm on Monday, November 19 and bailed pending further enquiries.

As part of the police investigation into the discovery of the cocaine, officers searched a home in Kimberworth and found a stash of the MCAT drug with an estimated street value of £7,000.

Carl Howland, aged 24, of Thornton Street, Rotherham, has been charged with possession of the MCAT with intent to supply and has been remanded pending a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
