Doncaster crime round up, May 17: thieves steal 83-year-old’s mobility scooter

The following crimes were reported to police on May 16 and May 17. Anyone with information call South Yorkshire Police on 101.

Wheatley: Thieves forced a garage door at Beckett Road between 10pm on Thursday and 7.30am on Friday and stole the 83-year-old complainant’s mobility scooter and battery charger.

Finningley: At 1.15am this morning a Vauxhall Golf car, registration X66 ACT, was stolen from Harvey Close.

Hyde Park: Thieves forced the rear ground floor window at an address in Exchange Street between 11pm Thursday and 7am Friday and stole a number of electrical items, computer games and a mobile phone as well as a gold coloured Vauxhall Golf motor vehicle, registration X251 SUB

Bawtry: A window was forced at The White Hart pub in Swan Street and thieves attacked a gaming machine, stealing £200.

Denaby: Wheel trims were stolen from a silver Vauxhall Vectra in Church Street between 9pm Thursday and 8.30am Friday.

Mexborough: Wrought iron gates were stolen from the driveway of an address in Arnold Crescewnt between 9am Wednesday and 9am Thursday.

Woodlands: Thieves stole wood baording from the roof of Woodlands First School in The Crescent between Monday 4.30pm and Thursday 4.30pm.
