The boyfriend of a woman who was murdered while he was away from home visiting his brother in Sheffield has joined a charity cycle challenge in her memory.
Greg Reardon was spending a weekend in Sheffield in December last year when his 25-year-old fiancee Joanna Yeates was murdered in the flat they used to share in Bristol.
The 25-year-old landscape architect disappeared on December 17 and her body was discovered on Christmas Day.
Greg reported her missing when he returned home from Sheffield and was unable to contact Joanna.
The cycle challenge has been organised in her memory by the firm of architects she used to work for, raising money for the Missing People charity, the Red Cross and the RSPCA.
The relay ride involves more than 200 riders from linking the firm’s offices in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
