FEARS are increasing for the safety of a girl missing from home for over a week.

Police are becoming ‘concerned’ for the welfare of 14-year-old Nga Thi Nguyen, who lives in Chesterfield but is originally from Vietnam, because of a lack of sightings of the teen since she vanished on Thursday, March 1.

She had only lived in the town for two weeks and was last seen in the Newbold area.

The teenager is described as about 5ft 1in, with straight, black, shoulder-length hair .

She was last seen wearing a red, yellow and blue checked shirt and blue jeans.
