Burglars strike at four homes

BURGLARS are being hunted by police after they forced open a patio door and stole computer equipment from a house on Westwick Road, Greenhill, Sheffield.

The offenders triggered an alarm and were seen riding off on a stolen motorcycle.

The break-in happened at 2pm on Monday.

Two homes in Sheffield - on Valley Road, Meersbrook, and Slate Street, Lowfield - were broken into when thieves sneaked in looking for valuables to steal last Friday night.

And a home on Albert Road, Heeley, Sheffield, was burgled after the offender smashed the glass in a door and opened the lock.
