Police have issued an e-fit of man who broke into a house in Sheffield and woke his victim up by holding a knife to their throat and demanding cash.

The suspect broke into a house in Club Street, Sharrow, Sheffield, at 2am on Thursday, February 20.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “The suspect entered a property and woke the victim, who was in bed, by holding a knife to their throat and asking for money. He then left with a mobile phone.

“The suspect is described as of Pakistani or Indian origin and aged between 20 and 25 years old.

“He had a thin face.”
