Detectives investigating the murder of Sheffield dad Simon Holdsworth have made an arrest.
Police said a 45-year-old man from Sheffield had been arrested within the last hour.
The body of paint sprayer Mr Holdsworth, aged 36, was found in a field off Birley Spa Lane, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield, on the morning of Tuesday December 17.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police have today arrested a 45-year-old Sheffield man on suspicion of the murder of Simon Holdsworth.
“The family of Simon Holdsworth have been made aware of the arrest.
“The 45-year-old man is currently in custody and will be questioned by detectives.”
