THE heartbroken, girlfriend, mum and sister of a man stabbed to death at a city club have made an emotional appeal for help in tracing the killer.
Standing outside the Stars and Mayfair Suite on Queens Road, where 27-year-old Joshua Green, of Manor Park, was stabbed on New Year’s Day, his partner Aisha McNellie, 28, urged people in the club on the night of the attack to come forward and tell police what they saw or know.
“We know that there are people out there who are not aware that no-one has been charged for Josh’s murder, which happened in January,” she said,
“We, Josh’s family, have come up against a brick wall and cannot move forward. We need your help to bring us closure to this heart-wrenching and horrific situation.
“We may have laid Josh to rest but we can’t rest as we are in torment.
“If you were at the Stars and Mayfair Function Suites at the time and have not come forward because you think you can’t help – please think again – the smallest of information might be significant. “
Four men, aged 18 and 22, arrested in connection with the death have been bailed pending further enquiries.
