A MAN was knocked unconscious in an attack in a Doncaster bar, sparking a police investigation.

The 22-year-old was in a late-opening bar on Silver Street in the town centre when he was assaulted in what is thought to have been an unprovoked attack by three men.

He was knocked unconscious during the assault and sustained facial swelling and bruising, cuts and bruising to his right eye and injuries to his back.

Police are appealing to find three men they want to speak to in connection with the incident, at 12.40am on Saturday, March 24, and have issued pictures.

The men are all described as white and in their 20s. One of the men has distinctive tribal tattoos on both of his arms and one was wearing glasses.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the men is asked to call the police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 613 of March 28.
