ALL 15 licensed premises visited by underage customers in a police operation in Sheffield refused to sell the teens alcohol.
The checks were organised in and around Woodhouse and Mosborough aimed at looking for traders selling alcohol to children. A total of 28 premises have been visited in recent weeks, with just one found to have broken the law.
A police spokesman said: “The cadets attempt to purchase alcohol declaring their genuine age if asked. Future operations will be run to ensure unannounced ad hoc visits are made.”
