PATIENTS and visitors at Chesterfield Royal Hospital can raise issues of concern at an event to find out what is important to them.
As part of Safer Neighbourhoods Day a mobile police station will be taken to the hospital and bobbies will spend time in the entrance area talking to people.
Hospital staff and members of the Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership, including housing officers and council workers, will also be on hand between 10am and 3pm on Monday.
PC Akeel Hussain said: “We have a good relationship with the hospital and it is really important to be as close as possible to the communities we serve.
“I’m looking forward to meeting people and finding out more about the issues concerning people who work at the hospital or use it. Once we find out what these are, we’ll look for ways to resolve them and help people feel safer.”
