Attack victim is now ‘stable’

A MAN seriously injured in an attack in Sheffield is now in a stable condition in hospital.

The 24-year-old was attacked near Caffe Nova, Charter Row, Sheffield city centre, on Wednesday, March 29.

A 23-year-old man arrested in connection with the attack has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Witnesses to the assault, which happened shortly before 4.30am should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
