A MAN who was attacked on a Sheffield street after a night out is still critically ill in hospital.
South Yorkshire Police said the 44-year-old, who has not been named, suffered serious head injuries when he was attacked as he walked along Archer Lane, Millhouses on his way home from a night out.
A force spokeswoman said the victim was still ‘critical but stable’ in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses and want to talk to two white males in the area at the time who were in their teens or early 20s. They may have been with a woman.
