Residents are invited to pick up free security equipment and quiz their local police officer at a Cracking Crime event being held in Derbyshire.
North East Derbyshire Community Safety Partnership will be running the drop-in event on Tuesday, July 10, at the Community Hall in Renishaw, from 2pm to 4pm.
A team will give out free equipment to people who attend, including property marking kits and personal attack alarms.
Residents will have the chance to raise issues with their local police officer, and can also pick up advice on how to protect their homes and vehicles from crime.
The initiative is part of the partnership’s Safe, Secure and Responsible campaign, which aims to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
