The visit comes after an axe attack left a female police officer in need of surgery on Wednesday night - read up on that incident here: Sheffield man accused of attempted murder

That came just days after a woman, aged 22, was killed on nearby Spotswood Close, Gleadless Valley - Sheffield murder victim named by police

The Star will be reporting on the PCC’s visit to the area on Saturday.
