A leading architect helped youngsters to create a map of Sheffield’s most unusual buildings.

Christophe Egret worked with teenagers as part of a 30-week programme of art and design masterclasses at Sheffield Hallam University.

The architect, a founding partner of Studio Egret West which worked on the revamp of Park Hill, said: “I want to encourage these young people to take ownership of their city and think about how they want it to look and feel in 10 years’ time.”

University art lecturers have been running workshops on Saturdays for young people together with the Sorrell Foundation charitable organisation.
