The following were convicted at Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield magistrates’ courts between May 10 and May 15.

Carl Frank Oates: aged 44, of St Vincent Road, Wheatley, Doncaster, theft, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £150 compensation, £50 costs.

James Paul Evans: aged 26, of Elm Road, Meborough, criminal damage, £170 fine, £115 costs, restraining order imposed.

Brett John Buck: aged 35, of Selborne Street, Eastwood, Rotherham, theft, failed to surrender to custody, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £70 costs.

John Jospeh Farrell: aged 40, of Musgrave Crescent, Norwood, theft, community order, drug rehabilitation requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement, £125 costs.

William John Proctor: aged 37, of Brightmore Drive, Netherthorpe, driving without insurance, driving while disqualified, committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge, 12 weeks in prison, £115 costs, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for one year.

Adam Lee Templeton: aged 23, of Callow Mount, Gleadless, possession of a class B drug, drug driving, failed to surrender to custody, criminal damage, £300 fine, order for the destruction of the drug, £100 costs, £160 compensation, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.

David Dixon: aged 44, of Deer Park Road, Stannington, 12 weeks in prison, £115 costs.

Anthony Dillan Turner: aged 21, of Rayburn Road, Gleadless Valley, driving without insurance, £660 fine, £151 costs, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for six months.

Pashko Geci: aged 37, of Homestead Road, Shiregreen, failed to five information to the police relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, driving while disqualified, drink driving, failed to provide a specimen, ten weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for 20 months, £200 costs.

Adam Johnson: aged 34, of Firshill Gardens, Firshill, assault, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, £15 fine, £130 costs.

Barnsley

Chelsea Cowdell: aged 21, of Woodlands Drive, Town Centre, theft, committed a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence, 16 weeks in prison, £65 compensation.

John Douglas Hitchins: aged 42, of Tudor Way, Worsbrough, theft, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £105 costs.

Jonathan George Smith: aged 51, of Church View Road, Penistone, drunk and disorderly, failed to surrender to custody, £50 fine, £30 compensation, £50 costs.

Jack Millthorpe: aged 77, of Honeywell Lane, Old Town, criminal damage, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £900 compensation, £105 costs.

Lee Birtles: aged 37, of Litton Walk, Town End, theft, committed a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence, community order, curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, £170 costs.

Daniel Thomas Tinkler: aged 29, of High Road, Balby, Doncaster, drink driving, drug driving, community order, unpaid work requirement, £170 costs, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for three years.

Mark Steven Nicholls: aged 30, of Mallory Way, Cudworth, resisted a police constable in the execution of their duty, entered premises as a trespasser and stole an item once inside, 48 weeks in prison, £780 compensation.

Nathan Shepherd: aged 26, of no fixed address, theft, two weeks in prison, £14 compensation.

Darren Lee Wright: aged 31, of Cemetery Road, Pinder Oaks, assault, theft, 20 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months, drug rehabilitation requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement, £250 costs, £24 compensation.

Ian Davison: aged 52, of Radcliffe Road, Bentley, Doncaster, failed to comply with requirements of a community order, £30 fine.
