The following were convicted at Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield magistrates’ courts between April 19 and April 20.

Sheffield

Daniel James Ball: aged 39, of Forres Avenue, Crookes, drink driving, £150 fine, £30 costs, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.

Luke Brocklesby: aged 21, of Devonshire Road, Maltby, Rotherham, breach of restraining order, £350 fine, £120 costs.

Robert Thabang Nare: aged 30, of no fixed address, drink and disorderly, committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £20 costs.

Justin Adrian Turner: aged 34, of Faheem Court, Doncaster Road, Rotherham, drink and disorderly, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £20 costs.

Craig Stephen Whitehead: aged 34, of HMP Doncaster, theft, four weeks in prison, £115 costs.

Michael Kenneth Parsons: aged 57, of no fixed address, theft, using or threatening abusive language or behaviour to cause alarm and distress, assault, four months in prison, £400 compensation.

Mahad Abdi Ahmed: aged 33, of Verdon Street, Burngreave, theft, using or threatening abusive language or behaviour to cause a person fear that unlawful violence would be used against them, failed to surrender to bail, 10 weeks in prison, £115 costs.

James Daniel Cully: aged 21, of Gresley Road, Lowedges, Sheffield, criminal damage, assault, 18 weeks in prison suspended for 24 months, rehabilitation activity requirement, unpaid work requirement, restraining order imposed, £400 compensation, £200 costs.

Anthoni Pinnock: aged 27, of City Road, Manor Castle, drink driving, failed to co-operate with drug wipe screening test, assault, assaulted a police constable in the execution of their duty, taking a care without consent and causing damage to the car, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, failed to stop when damage was caused to the car, 12 weeks in prison, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for 24 months, £250 compensation.
