THE annual Harthill Carnival is on Saturday, July 14, when there will be a host of attractions for all the family.
The event will be held on Spens Field, Woodall Lane, Harthill, and features shire horses, a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, dog display team, baby farm animals, a children’s entertainer, stalls, games and vintage tractors.
The official opening is 1.30pm, although the shire horse judging is at noon and a street parade takes place at 12.15pm.
Tickets for the carnival are £2.50 for adults and £1 for children and OAPs and car parking is free.
In the evening the band The Other Three will perform in the marquee.
Concert tickets are available from Tanimara and carnival members and cost £5 for adults and £2.50 children.
